Metta Meditation - Use When Stuck Worrying
Your head doesn’t want to accept it.
You were taught to solve. You were taught you could solve it!
Even though perhaps no-one around you had solved it themselves.
Perhaps they had raged against it their whole lives.
‘It’ is the fear of your own feelings.
But thinking it is the outside world causing it.
Hyper-vigilantly watching for anything that might set it off.
Negatively scanning the world for negatives.
A world of should’s, I must’s, I have to’s.
Once you move through it, you see everyone has this internal conflict.
And then no one will have that power over you anymore.
So grieve to move through the wretched grasp of head-thinking’s fear.
Grieve that your head is unable to stop these emotions rising in you.
They always will. Feel compassion for yourself for trying so hard.
But what if you welcome these emotions as yours?
You stop trying to solve them.
You stop the internal conflict.
The emotions flow though you.
And you get that energy!
