Hi Chris Walton,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m a Muslim, and I have a deep interest in dreams and visions. Recently, I’ve been reading various accounts of dreams/visions about nuclear war from people in different countries. Interestingly, while searching for a similar vision I had read about from someone in another country using ChatGPT, it suggested I look up your page, where I came across your vision.

I must admit, it saddened me to see that your country was among those mentioned in such visions, especially after noticing the name of your city from your address.

My interest in dreams comes from the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, as well as all prophets, who gave importance to visions/dreams. In Islam, visions/dreams are categorized into three types: a true vision from Allah, a disturbing dream from Satan, or a reflection of one’s own thoughts (subconscious).

A true vision conveys something real that a person may not know—whether from the past, present, or future. It may come symbolically or clearly as it is.

The second type is from Satan and is not worth attention, as it only brings distress without benefit.

The third type, which I believe may relate more to your interest, reflects inner thoughts and personal experiences.

I sincerely hope you are safe and well, especially during these uncertain times. I’m glad that your vision showed that you were unharmed-praise be to Allah.

One detail I found especially meaningful in your vision was your mention of a mother figure—when you said, “a woman, that was maybe my mum but also wasn’t.” This is a beautiful symbol often associated with care and protection. I pray that Allah continues to watch over and protect you.

It’s important to remember that, in our belief, Allah may send visions as guidance to His servants—so it’s something worth reflecting upon.

Take care and stay safe.

Hi Abdallah, thank you for your comment and apologies for the late reply. I like the three categories of dreams. Yes, the third type particularly interests me. I work with mindfulness and knowing my mind more clearly. I also treat some thoughts as though they are not mine and unworthy (personally, I don't label them from Satan but from a similar energy). I will think on what you have said. Thank you, and I wish you positive blessings. Chris
